  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Primary Location: OB - Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital
  • Shift Requirements: 12 hour day/night variables
  • Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend, holiday rotations
  • Float Requirements: OB and L&D - Could potentially float to Med/Surg, ER or ICU for tasks if/as needed (vital signs, answer lights, complete a patient history). No patient assignment and No isolation rooms. May also need to float to other Aspirus locations in the Southern region if needed.
  • On Call/Call Back Requirements: No requirements for additional on-call or back-up. Additional shifts MAY be available to pick up for sick calls, etc.

    • Mandatory: BLS
    • Advanced NRP
    • WI RN license
    • Minimum Experience: 2 years in OB with L&D experience
    • 1 travel assignment REQUIRED
    • Critical access hospital experience highly preferred
    • Charting Experience: EPIC REQUIRED
    • Required Skillset: Labor and Delivery competent
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour day/night variables
      • Every other weekend, holiday rotations
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 2 labor rooms; 6 post-partum
        • Nurse to Patient Ratio: as above- we staff to AWHONN guidelines. Nurses do labor/post-partum/newborn nursery care (not separate units). For example - on a night shift, 1 RN may have 2 moms/2 babies assigned while the 2nd RN has no assignment - takes all triage, labor patients, does daily tasks/restocking, cleaning, etc. OR sometimes they share the 2 'couplets' between them and then work together if someone comes in.
