Position: Home Care Scheduler

Status: Full Time

Shift: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. It does require every other weekend on-call, with on-call pay.

As a Home Care Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the client intake process. This includes, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources. Responding to customer requests, and concerns, and managing the insurance verification and authorization processes. As well as, coordinating care for private duty services.

Job Tasks may include any and or all of the following:

• Directs daily referral and intake calls to the Director of Health and Wellness
• Handles all telephone calls regarding scheduling coordination of caregivers to meet client scheduling needs.
• Coordinates client requests for service.
• Ensures that services are provided by the most qualified person available.
• Notifies clients promptly if an employee is unavailable, and the coordinator will fill the absence until further scheduling can be resolved. We are proud to offer benefits that support your life:

  • Scholarship & Tuition Assistance Minimum Qualifications:
    • Has a 2-year Associate degree; preferably with a health-related or customer service focus.
    • Maintains a current CPR Certification
    • Excellent reading, writing, grammar, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Must possess a thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations as they apply to team member compensation and benefits.
    • Must be able to respect the privacy and confidentiality of any information accessed necessary to perform job requirements; must also ascribe to the values in the Franciscan inspired mission and values statement.
