  • Job Details
  • Join our REMARKABLE health care team as a Radiologic Technologist - MRI and perform technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.
  • Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations.
  • Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.
    • Job Requirements
    • Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, medefis portal, onboarding disclosures/questionnaires).
    • Experience: Two (2) years clinical experience.
    • Prior traveling experience preferred.
    • Education: Minimum - Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
    • Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
      • Schedule Information
      • Only submit traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Floating - Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs.
        • During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
          • Additional Details
          • UW Health is moving away from using outdated file formats for Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Profiles will need to be submitted in the following format: .docx, .xlsx and .pptx file types or our IS department will be blocking them and we will no longer receive the files nor able to forward internal to our hiring managers.
