Job Description:
The University of Iowa Department of Otolaryngology is seeking
faculty for a position in our Rhinology Division. Appointment rank
may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or
Professor level and to either the tenure track or clinical
(non-tenure) track consistent with clinical experience and research
interest.Requirements:
- Medical Doctorate or equivalent is required.
- Fellowship training in rhinology and skull base surgery.
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of
Iowa.
- Candidate must be board eligible or board certified in
otolaryngology.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to hold an
appointment in the Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
- Applicants must have demonstrated a high level of communication
and collaboration.Desirable qualifications:
- Experience in the VA Health Care SystemsFaculty appointments
with significant administrative/leadership responsibilities must
include a required qualification about job-related experience with
fostering a welcoming and respectful work/academic environment or
otherwise demonstrate the ability to foster a welcoming and
respectful work/academic environment. The following list provides
