Job Description:

Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Shift: 8 hours, days, rotating
- Employment Type: Travel

Schedule - Day shift with 1-2 call shifts per week and 1 weekend per month.
Prepare equipment for sterilization.
Prepare the access site(s) to include the required sterile drapes and covers, provide for patient comfort and cooperation by familiarizing the patient with the equipment and the examination. Prepare the patient for the examination to include physiological monitoring equipment.
Monitor and maintain medical equipment during the procedure. Use sterile and aseptic technique as required to help prevent infection. Handle blood and body fluids in a manner appropriate to biohazardous materials.
Document fluoroscopy time and radiation dose. Position the patient and/or imaging equipment to achieve desired projections. Select appropriate imaging protocols (e.g. frame rates, high/low level fluoro) to optimize image quality while minimizing dose. Employ image enhancement techniques during procedure to improve image quality.
Acquire and process digital images (e.g. road mapping, subtraction, annotation, magnification) and perform 3D image reconstructions.
Monitor and record all procedural data (e.g. injection data, physiologic data, administered medications, complications).
Graduate of accredited radiology program
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
