Security Specialist II

An active DOD Security Clearance is required for this position High School Diploma and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.Ability to maintain positive attitude and excellent customer service skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to include strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.Exhibit strong interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers.Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties set forth in the primary duties and responsibilities section above.Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents, and utilize various office tools (i.e. MS Office, SIMS, DISS, NISS).Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.Follow established processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements.Must be able to safely operate destruction equipment and work in close proximity to magnetic degaussing equipment.Must be able to move or lift 40 pounds.Top Secret security clearance eligibility.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Two to four or more years of related security experience. Prefer experience in one or more of the following areas: Department of Defense (DoD) security communities, Communications Security (COMSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), export security issues.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
