We are seeking a Radiologic Tech - X-Ray to:
--- Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric
patients,
adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of
radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate
readers.
--- Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical
decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and
pathology.
--- Troubleshoot basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA,
and resolve issues related to image processing and the image
archiving system.
Minimum Requirements:
--- Facility Requirement:
--- Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of
Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile
including resume, medefis portal, onboarding documents).
--- Experience:
--- Minimum two years clinical imaging experience required.
--- Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma
center or similar size hospital.
--- Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
--- Licensure and Certification:
--- Certification by appropriate body (ARRT)
--- Wisconsin Radiological License
--- BLS - issued by American Heart Association only
--- Education:
--- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
--- References:
--- Needs 2 completed references from recent work
environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work
performed in the last two years).
--- Floating
--- Travelers are the first to float to floors working with
children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's
competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts
scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing
needs and/or different locations within the organization. During
the travelers assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need,
shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete
contract.
