Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate (Junior) Highway Engineer
to support transportation projects in Chicago and the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare plans, sketches, and details for roadway transportation
projects using CADD and technical tools
Assist with engineering calculations, material quantity takeoffs,
cost estimates, and schedules
Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, including
design, drainage, and traffic analyses
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with relevant
coursework in transportation engineering
Experience with CADD software, preferably MicroStation, and
willingness to learn new tools
0 to 3 years of related experience post-graduation
Desire to obtain Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification within 6
months
Good interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
